OakTown is a Red Dirt Rock band out of Antioch, Oklahoma that comes to throw down every night.  The members pull influences from all over the genre list: From Cross Canadian Ragweed to Stevie Ray Vaughan to Blink-182 and Pantera, creating their own brand of what frontman Josey Lovett likes to call “Shred Dirt” or “Yallternative” music. Recent releases like “Backwards” and “Smoking Gun” showcase in your face rock and roll riffs, while still focusing on the heartfelt songwriting Oklahoma Red Dirt is known for.
